Ever had one of those ideas just waiting for a reason?
Of course not, these days who waits for the problem? I get it.
When I heard about the Citype project I knew I'd better hustle and finalize
a digital font based on my logo for the Miami GMCVB, back in 2003.
I’d based it on Herb Lubalin’s Avant Garde — it was everywhere
growing up in Miami — and the simple geometry of causeway signage.
And something else, I forget…
